LODGES
Where will you be staying?
From your lodge, you overlook green valleys, rivers, or rainforests. Each room has its own bathroom, and your breakfast is ready for you in the morning. A comfortable base right in the heart of the adventure.
We have carefully selected each lodge, not only for its location and atmosphere but also because we believe in supporting local entrepreneurs. This way, you not only enjoy a beautiful stay but also contribute to fair employment and sustainable initiatives in the region.
Thanks to the proximity of the airport (about a 5-10 minute drive), it's the perfect place to arrive.
Your first overnight stay: quietly located in a charming building, the rooms are simple but well-kept. In the morning, you'll be awakened by the songs of birds in the green garden, far away from the hustle and bustle of traffic. The restaurant offers a hearty breakfast buffet, ideal for recharging after a long journey.
A peaceful and safe start to your adventure in Uganda.
Nile River Explorers is one of the most memorable stays, beautifully overlooking the Nile.
The bar and restaurant are charmingly located by the river, allowing you to enjoy sunsets over the water.
For those who want adventure, there are activities like white water rafting, tubing, or a sunset cruise. There's also a water slide (“Slide the Nile”) for those looking for a bit more action.
Unwind after a long drive or an impressive safari in Murchison Falls National Park.
Our lodge is located just outside the southern entrance of the park and offers everything you need to relax: a refreshing pool, breathtaking views, and spacious rooms with a private bathroom and a cozy veranda.
Little Monkey Camp is located at the edge of Kibale Forest National Park, ideally situated just a few minutes' drive from the starting point for chimpanzee trekking.
There’s a Ugandan yet well-kept vibe: nature and simplicity combine with great service.
In the morning, you can hear the forest come alive with bird songs and monkey sounds, and in the evening, you can relax around the campfire.
The restaurant serves locally inspired meals, focusing on fresh and authentic food. Besides chimp tracking, you can take walks through the forest, visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, go birdwatching, and enjoy cultural visits to nearby villages.
Your lodge is right by the Kazinga Channel. When evening falls, the guard will come to warn you whenever the hippos emerge from the water and settle down peacefully on the bank next to the lodge.
Gorilla Camp, your base near the Rushaga sector of Bwindi Forest. Located just outside the park boundary, it's the perfect spot for before and after your gorilla trek. For example, after an unforgettable encounter with these impressive animals, you can sit down for a meal to relive the day.
From the lodge, you can easily walk to the heart of the village, or you can explore local crafts like basket weaving. Or head into the lush nature for a short hike; with a bit of luck, you might even spot an elephant near your accommodation (rare, but it can happen!).
During the trip, you'll spend two nights at Bunyonyi Overland Resort, beautifully located on the shores of the picturesque Lake Bunyonyi.
This eco-friendly resort offers comfortable cottages with views of the lake. The lake is free of bilharzia and safe for swimming, a rarity in Africa. Surrounding the accommodation, you'll enjoy peace, fresh mountain air, and stunning views of the islands.
There are opportunities for canoeing, hiking, and meeting local communities. The restaurant serves both local and international dishes. So, it's an ideal spot to relax.
On the edge of Lake Mburo National Park, hidden in nature, lies Leopard's Rest Camp. A place where life slows down, returning to the essence, and you embrace the tranquility of a simple lifestyle.
